RTR Technologies is a Modeling, Simulation and Analysis technology services firm. They develop, operate, and deploy niche discrete event simulations and models for DoD, DHS, and the healthcare industry to help customers understand their systems, improve performance, and save money.
Lead Designer, Distribution & Automation
· Led efforts in the renovation of facilities used by governmental agencies at Ports of Entry; executed on-site assessments resulting in a comprehensive report identifying key improvements across three facility types.
· Compiled thorough reports after traveling on-site for documentation purposes including capturing images related to light quality assessment; this led to refined project specifications across three major facility types.
· Developed Modular Design kits for the studio including large scale environments with over 100 parts.
· Optimized visualizations for AR and VR environments by adjusting Levels of Detail (LODs); budgeted rendering efficiency and modernized user experience through superior lighting and texturing techniques for dozens of models.
· Joined forces with cross-functional engineering teams within the studio to construct detailed models simulating human and vehicular movement; enhanced predictive capabilities by applying real-world data from over 50 different locations nationwide.
· Supplied documentation and Feedback, written and verbal, to maintain a consistent style. received constructive feedback from management, peers, and other creative sources
· Designed intricate 3D models for over 30 facilities nationwide, including the San Ysidro Border Crossing; ensured high levels of accuracy contributing to improved simulation results for human and vehicle traffic.

Key Projects
Maryland MEP - Junior Achievement of Central
Created an educational game for the Maryland school system, designed to teach young adults about Machining, Production, and shipping of goods from a virtual reality environment. This project is currently in use and is used in dozens of classroom throughout the state. Developed for the HTC Vive and Meta Quest 2 using the VRTK DevKit.
O’Hare 21
Created various models of the international terminal as part of the $8.5B overhaul, optimized for real time simulations of passenger’s flow and security throughout the terminal and in adjacent areas.
